I've driven by this place a million times but never thought to go in until it popped up on day on Yelp. It's a breakfast/lunch place. It's not easy to spot and it has no huge sign on the front of the building.

We walked in at 11:00am on a Saturday morning and they had a few customers. There are good number of booths and tables here. From the outside it looks small but once you get in there you see it's pretty big.

The server greeted us with a smile and we ordered coffee ($1.50), which tasted pretty good. Lots of breakfast options on the menu. I went with the #1 333 breakfast which contained 3 eggs, 3 toast, and 3 bacon for only $4.75. It came up very quickly. The scrambled eggs were good but cut up too finely. The bacon was also good but a bit too hard.  The Italian toast was very hearty, I really liked it.

The waitress kept refilling our coffee mugs. She took care of us very well. I'll have to try them for lunch one day.

Love this spot for breakfast. It's a cute, local spot in Niagara Falls to grab breakfast or lunch. We always get the JB French toast for the table to share. It's coated with corn flakes and deep fried.... amazing. My sister and I split the full size of mixed eggs and ordered a side of home fries. The mixed eggs were great and a huge portion, we even had left overs. The mixed eggs tasted like they had fresh ingredients and still had a nice little crunch to the peppers.  The home fries are awesome! They were real potatoes sliced, seasoned and cooked up perfectly. These are the best home fries in the area.  Service was great and friendly, our coffee was always hot and full. It's the type of place, where you always know someone when you walk in.  Definitely worth checking out when in the area!

After being forced to switch businesses because Bridget wrote the best Orange Cat review of all time, I've settled on Knacks. Their sign is so run down that when we first pulled in I had no idea we were actually at the restaurant. The service is slow, admittedly not because of the waitress, but because of the fact that they were absurdly understaffed. It's a restaurant, hiring more than one server is probably a smart idea. Their hours are almost as unpredictable as the meal you'll receive. If you are going to get breakfast somewhere, make it the Hill Vue Cafe instead.

The best French toast around Niagara Falls! Their traditional French toast is great! But for something a little different, but I'm quite sure has double the calories, try their JB's French toast.  Its the traditional French toast, coated in corn flake cereal and fried. Yum!

Bad service. Restaurant clearly understaffed and overworked. The waitress was doing an amazing job with what she was given however that was not much in the way of help, however I recognize it was not her fault. As another person mentioned you never know when this place is going to be opened or closed as they seem to open and close when they please. They also tend to close for an hour or 2 and reopen later, which is weird. I went in for breakfast on a Saturday and the entire ordeal took almost 2 hours just for a simple breakfast. I had an appointment to make later in the day and almost didn't make it because of the extremely slow service here. The food was hot and fresh and tasty but the service just kills the mood. Unfortunately like most people my Saturdays are busy and I do not have time to be waiting an excessive amount of time for a simple breakfast since I have other things that need to be done... my time is valuable. People were lining up for food and parties coming in left and right yet this place doesn't have enough staff to keep up with the crowd. What I thought was really gross was there was a large table FULL of dirty dishes that was just sitting there untouched for the entire time I was eating, and was probably sitting there for a few hours before I came in and no one was taking a second look at it. I won't be back, next time I make breakfast at home. I have been here other times on a Saturday for breakfast and never a problem and good food at reasonable prices.. what happened...
